    THE 85th MOUNTAIN INFANTRY REGIMENT WHICH WAS ASSIGNED TO THE 10th MOUNTAIN INFANTRY DIVISION WHICH IS STILL ACTIVE AND BASED AT FORT DRUM NEW YORK.
    LADY BRONCO BUSTERS POSTCARDS ARE INTERESTING ON THEIR OWN, BUT TO HAVE 85TH MOUNTAIN INFANTRY REGIMENT ORIGINS FOR THESE CARDS.
    GETS THIS OLD HISTORIAN'S BLOOD CHURNING.  COMPANY "F" OF THE 85th WOULD DEPLOY TO ITALY AND FIGHT ENTRENCHED GERMAN FORCES IN MOUNTAIN BATTLES..
