1968 Barbie Doll Trunk With Clothes And Accessories MATTEL And 1962 Midge Barbie. Condition is "Used".
I really do not know how to describe this so please read the description, asks questions, and ask for more photos. I took a lot but cannot post more than 12 pictures
I purchased this items from an individual who was a collector.
The items are used.
The items are scuffed, scratched, broken, dirty, stained, sticky, and marked on.
Some of the clothes are homemade by the collector and their family.
Some of the clothes are genuine Barbie clothes.
There are too many accessories to list. And I did not get a complete picture of them all.
The Barbie doll trunk has no visible tears or rips in the covering.
The barbies are as listed
Midge 1962
Barbie 1966
The broke doll is not Barbie or at least it doesn’t have a Barbie stamp on it.
It is Mattel 1967. The legs are snapped off and the joint is broken.
The pull string device does not work. Pull the string and it quickly Retracts it without making a voice or anything.
There is also various small pieces of loose materials.
I did have to clean off a greenish gooey substance off the dolls. I used very hot soapy water and a rag. Other than wiping of the substance(i am thinking cake icing, or hoping) i did not do any addition cleaning. I am sure the buyer/ collector knows a better way to clean and condition them.
