Hello and thank you for looking at my auction.  We are proud to offer this STUNNING ANTIQUE AFRICAN CONGO KUBA PRESTIGE CEREMONIAL GEOMETRIC BROWN CARVED WOOD CUP PROVENANCE
This piece is very unique and beautiful.  It measures 7" tall and 4" across.  This piece would look amazing in any African Arts collection.  Great accent piece or centerpiece!
Came out of a high end estate outside of Washington DC.  GET IT BEFORE SOMEONE ELSE DOES!  Interior collector pieces!  Luxury at its finest.
Collection of Congolese African Art that was purchased from the estate of a descendant of Richard Baseleer. Richard Baseleer was the son of the prominent Belgian artist of the same name. Richard Baseleer (the son) was a banker during thru 1930-40s and was the Director in Africa of the Belgian Bank of the Congo. His signature appears on Congo paper money of that era. He acquired these pieces, while he lived in the Congo in the 1930-40s.  Check out my other items from the same collection.
