Antique Buddhist Painting on Cloth / Canvas from Thailand

This is a lovely Antique Theravada Buddhist Painting on thin canvas / cloth from Thailand.  I would conservatively date this piece to the latter part of the 1800's to the Turn of the Century.  The painting's size is fairly large in comparison to paintings of similar age and quality.  Please note the interesting & amusing depiction of two young children peeking from behind the adults in the pavilion (refer to Picture #2). They are the painting’s scene stealers! This painting was purchased by my father and myself in Bangkok in the late 1970's during the period he owned an antique shop in Penang, Malaysia.  My father admired these paintings and he actively collected the best examples he could find.  Once mounted & framed this painting would add a whimsical element to the interior decor of any home.  To the active collector it would be a nice addition to their inventory due to it's good condition & fairly large size.  I would conservatively grade this item's Condition to be Grade A to A-, no lower than B+.  The painting will be securely shipped in a 3 inch diameter mailing tube.
