Description
Antique Moroccan Bedouin Handmade Saddlebag with long braided fringe and bits of brass representing money attached. Bag measures 7"+ tall x 6" wide in closed position. This was recovered from the desert along well traveled African Trade Bead Routes. Camel Expeditions were the only form of trade and exchange by land in the 1700's along the Silk Road Routes. Purchased at an antique store in Fez in 1970. Excellent Museum Quality Historical Object from the Furthest North West Territory of Africa.
