Arm & Hammer Brand
(Baking)
Soda
wood box advertising crate,
is 100% untouched and wasn't varnished or otherwise tampered with. It's offered exactly how it was found, less some of the dust and debris that was previously found inside the box. It was found in an unheated pantry of an old home here in
southern
New Hampshire.
It has a naturally dry, matte wood finish and wasn't previously lacquered to reinforce the front paper label or to enhance the original black ink of the graphic iconography stamped sidewalls. This is now a nearly, if not,
100 year old
wood box crate and fairly early example of

mercantile advertising.
It was produced after the turn of the century by
Church and Company, New York
and as we all now know, became fantastically popular, a veritable household name and familiar to all

from coast to coast.
Outstanding.
CONDITION:
Good to Very Good overall antique condition.
