Exquisite MerryThought Pippin Teddy Bear Moulded Face MWT LE Handmade 10.5". Condition is New with Tags # 296 out of edition of 1000 . From Merrythoght of Ironbridge Shopshire England. This unique bear uses traditional techniques and an antique mould to from the lovely face. The face is them hand-painted to emphasize his sculptured face.He stands 10.5" tall and is fully jointed crafted of tipped dark brown mohair material. His paw pads have a bit of airbrushing and stitched claws. He also has a stictch mouth and nose. Comes wiht original beige scarf tied at neck. Has sewn Meryythought label on foot, Mertythought logo butt tag, numbered butt tag and also a descriptive label on a plastic card , Label is hand numbered, but they revers878ugyyuh bed two numbers when writing. Butt tag printed with #296 of 1000 hand numbered tag printed No 269 of 1000 - a human faux paux I just noticed while listing.He was purchased on vacation to Bath England in a Teddy Bear shop about 20 years ago and has been stored at my smoke free home every since. I just recently located him when unpacking boxes.He will be a wonderful addition to your collection.
