    Description

    For sale we offer a true find.  This early 1900's oversized wooden by was made by the JH QUAST & SON GLOBE SHOE COMPANY out of LOUISVILLE KENTUCKY.  We are able to find early articles on the company from 1902 and others but are unable to find anything else.  This was a very special piece purchased on a farm south of Louisville.  The box has been stored and treasured inside for all of these years.  We left it as we found it, completely original.  It's amazing how clean it is.  It measures 12 inches tall, 28 inches across, and 17 1/2 inches across the front label.  The graphics are incredible, and it appears to of had a leather strap at one point in time (pictured).
