US Navy military 200+ Love Sweetheart Letters 1951-1953 USS San Marcos

Up for sale is a wonderful lot of love letters written several days a week from a Navy sailor to his sweetheart. From 1951 to 1953. Apparently they got married along the way as the recipients last name changed. I only read a few of the letters and they were all about this sailors love and affection of the woman who will eventually become his wife. He served on the USS San Marcos. I believe this is Korean War era. Over 200 envelopes with original post marks, stamps, airmail. Various letterheads including pinups, ship and Navy gold letterhead. Many are on various blank and lined paper as well. Also includes some holiday cards. Fantastic visual of 2 years of this sailors life.
