A Vintage Inlaid Map Puzzle

CONDITION:  In nice shape, though vintage and used, so not pristine or perfect.  Some chipping, wear and tear along the edges and corners.  Some discoloration and general signs of age and use. There are multiple places where the edge is torn and there is a good deal of wear along the edges and corners of the pieces and the tray itself.
I purchase all of my items at auctions, estate sales and flea markets so cannot be sure of their history or whether they've come from smoke-free or pet-free homes.  I do my best to list any damage or use, but I'm not an expert.  So if there's something specific you need to know before bidding, please ask.
